Planarian Man

As part of 24 Hour Comics Day, I made a Planarian Man comic. I did not meet the challenge - I only finished 18 pages in the 24 hour period - but I’m going to do what is known as the Eastman variation, where you just take longer than 24 hours to get it finished. After another 3-hour session, I have another 3 pages done, so we’re up to 21.

But the reason I’m posting this now is to announce that as soon as I can get them scanned, I’ll be posting the full comic on this site, one day at a time, one page at a time. Then print it out, staple it together, whatever. Or just read it online. But a fourth Planarian Man comic is finally coming soon.

Gotta love that random, middle-of-the-clip method of choosing what representational frame to use. But anyway, if you prefer YouTube to watching flash cartoons, or perhaps wish to use YouTube to spread the word, the episodes will slowly make their way up over the next week or so, and the long-awaited episode 4 will make its simultaneous view here in flash mode and there in flash video mode.

I believe this is the third redesign of planarianman.com in as many years, which probably isn’t too bad a record.

After a long delay, chapter 4 of the Planarian Man Adventures cartoon is almost complete. That almost-completion is actually the reason for the site redesign; those other designs seemed very “parts 1-3.”

I’m hoping that the structure of the new site will lend itself to more frequent updates. Over the next few days, I’m going to work on getting most of the content from the previous versions of the site formatted to live here.
