Well, with all the technical difficulties and other setbacks that have plagued the cartoon series, I figured there needs to be some original content on this site and soon. So what did I do?

Well, I brought back the weekly comic strip, that's what I did. It's an all-new storyline, bringing all of your favorite characters back in the original comic strip continuity. Forget the sanitized-for-the-masses cartoon continuity (until it comes back). This is the real deal, picking up where we left off. And it'll be new every week. For real this time.

Scott should be arriving back from Europe any day now, and I should be getting my computer back any day now, so work can resume on Planarian Man vs. Galactacor. I painted a cover (and then Technicolored it in Photoshop for fun) which may or may not be the actual cover, but you can view it here.

After months of technical issues, Planarian Man Adventures, the animated web series, has made its debut on this site. Look for updates, hopefully every week, but realistically, more like every other week.

Welcome to planarianman.com, the new official pop-up free Planarian Man / Planarian Patrol website! After six years now at Geocities and Tripod, there is finally a stable home for all things Planarian. Look for the first installment of "The Adventures of Planarian Man," an animated Flash cartoon, coming soon within the next few days.

A long-awaited update is packed with good news...I am happy to announce that "Planarian Man Classics Volume 4" is getting closer and closer to a completion date. Co-writer Van Jensen and I are working together again on this, fine-tuning some of the details to make this re-release the greatest one yet.

Also, Scott Eastman and I are collaborating on a brand new "Planarian Man vs. Galactacor" one-shot, set to be released early 2003. Featuring story and art by both of us, this will surely be a can't-miss release. More on that as it becomes available, including a 3-or-4 page teaser, coming soon!

Look for me at the San Diego Comic Con, August 1-4 in San Diego, California. I will be happy to autograph any Planarian Man comic books, or anything for that matter, and unlike those greedy big stars, I won't charge you ANYTHING. Free will donations are accepted however.

I will be carrying with me exclusive LIMITED EDITION copies of the Planarian Man San Diego Comic Con 2002 Ashcan #1, free while they last. It is a reprint of "Planarian Man: Special Edition #1," also known as "Planarian Man vs. Y2K." This special-edition ashcan is in celebration (and promotion) of Planarian Man Classics Volume 3, which reprints the same story (only bigger).

February 2002
Due to renewed interest, the long out-of-print Planarian material will rise again in the form of "Planarian Man: Classics," a series of reprinted story arcs from all throughout the Planarian Man and Planarian Patrol history. There are no strict rules of chronology dictating which stories will be reprinted when.

The series will kick off with a bang with the classic "Death of Planarian Man" issue from "Planarian Patrol #37" from 1995.

Volume 2 will feature both parts of the equally classic introductions of both Blueface the Pirate Planarian and Uranus Man from "The Power of Uranus," originally printed in "Planarian Patrol #59-60" in 1996.

Volume 3 will reprint "Planarian Man: Special Editon #1" from 1999, when Mark Baldridge was writing the series, dealing with Planarian Man's battle with Y2K. As you may remember, this directly set up the story in Planarian Patrol #111 two years later when Planarian Man was forced out of retirement, which will be reprinted in Volume 4.
