Planarian Man is a combination of a human and a planarian who fights crime. Through numerous accidents and battle wounds, new clones of him have been made for better or for worse.
You see, when you cut off part of a planarian, not only does the missing part grow back, but the amputated limb regrows into a new planarian. Further complicating matters is the fact that planaria store their memories chemically. This means that when a new planarian clone is born, it has all of the existing memories of its “parent” planarian.
“Planarian Man” and “Planarian Patrol” have both been serial newspaper series that have run in the Auburn Press-Tribune, the Nemaha County Herald and the Daily Nebraskan and have been reprinted in numerous other publications.
